Technical Customer Delivery Manager

The Company works with leading Hyperscalers, Neo-cloud and international technology companies, delivering mission-critical environments from initial customer engagement through deployment and operational handover.
The Role
NED is looking for an experienced data center professional to lead the technical onboarding and delivery of new customers.
The role is the main technical point of contact between the customer and NED's sales, engineering, operations and delivery teams, ensuring that customer requirements are translated into a clear, practical and successfully delivered solution.
The role combines customer delivery, technical project management and selected pre-sales responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Customer onboarding and delivery
- Lead the technical onboarding process from contract award through go-live and operational handover.
- Gather and document customer requirements, including power, racks, density, cooling, connectivity, security and access.
- Translate customer needs into layouts, scopes of work, Bills of Materials and delivery plans.
- Coordinate the delivery of cages, racks, power distribution, cabling, connectivity and related fit-out works.
- Manage project milestones, risks, dependencies, approvals and customer decisions.
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
- Manage technical changes and assess their impact on scope, cost and schedule.
- Lead customer progress meetings and provide clear status updates.
- Coordinate testing, acceptance, equipment installation and final handover.
- Ensure completion of required technical and as-built documentation.
Pre-sales and tender support
- Support technical sales meetings, site visits and customer presentations.
- Lead or support technical responses to RFIs, RFPs and tenders.
- Review customer requirements and identify gaps, risks, assumptions and required clarifications.
- Work with sales, engineering and commercial teams to prepare technical proposals.
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience.
- Proven experience in data center customer delivery, fit-out, project management, pre-sales or post-sales.
- Practical knowledge of data center power, cooling, racks, cages, cabling, connectivity and physical security.
- Experience working in colocation environments and delivering customer cages or private data hall areas.
- Ability to understand customer IT requirements and translate them into facility requirements.
- Experience preparing scopes of work, Bills of Materials, layouts, schedules and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with RFI, RFP and tender processes.
- Strong customer-facing, communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage several customers and projects simultaneously.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
